Extrema Ratio task and Kreos

I was looking at the ER site earlier and saw for the first time the task and the Kreios. I like both of them a lot. I am thinking of purchasing the task first and then getting the kreios next month. Does anybody have one or has anyone used one and can give some input as to their effectiveness, utility and durability. I know there were some issues with the kukri chipping out, does the kreios suffer from this also or has this been rectified?
