Morning all.

Past weeks I had the chance to try extensively the Extrema Ratio Task C serrated http://www.extremaratioknivesdivision.eu/#!task-c/cghh

I have found the Task C as a very affordable all-round blade. You may like or not his military-look, which is far from the usual bushcraft knife: about the look the Task C is more on the survival-side, anyway the Task C is fairly capable as a bushcraft knife. I have made several kind of traps, feather-sticks and frog-gig using this knife (see videos below). The handle is quite comfortable, the blade is enough versatile. The sheath is well made, and safe. On the down side, I don't like the ventral guard, but I can live with; the blade finishing can't work for the ferro rod, you need to use the serrated/sharpen side of the blade to.
All in all, I give the Task C a good 8/10 as a all-round knife.

Good to see someone using Extrema Ratio knives - an underrated manufacturer imho. Lamentably they don't make the 3000 tanto series anymore (as far as i know), but i love my 3000c and only wish i had picked up one of the larger models while they were (briefly) available... this and the Shrapnel might work better than the serrated Task for some of the tasks mentioned in the op.
