Is it true that Extrema Ratio is no longer exporting knives to the US? I had a local dealer tell me he was told by his distributors that this was so. Can anyone confirm this? I just bought a couple cheap but I do not want to do buisness with that company again if they will remain available.

IIRC they got rid of the original distributor and now have a new one, they have an advertisement in this months tactical knives mag, they are still very much available in the US albeit in short supply right now, supposedly the new distributor will have more available pretty soon, there website is italianknives.com IIRC,

I think the original distributor got tred of distributing and they instead very obviously stole some of ER's designs and put a new company name on them. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. So ER pulled out for a while disgusted by the whole thing. But I do believe they are back is Sifu1a pointed out. If you check out the Dark Ops knives you will see they are just like Extrema Ratio's knives.

Well, except that ER's are actually very well made knives. :) Dork Ops stole everything except the quality. :p

You are correct Sir! I couldn't believe what I was seeing at Blade show at the Dark Ops booth. Sheesh! What nerve. I rarely if ever saw anyone at the Dark Ops booth shopping, just gawking in disbelief at the blatant plagiarism.
