KRILL Extreme 180 Degree Lamp (Electroluminescence Lights
)
Just wated to put my 2cents worth opinion on this great product.

Seems been waiting quite a long time for it and it just arrive a couple of hours ago ........

Specs,

1. Approximately 5" in length
2. Base diameter 1" , body 3/4"
3. Colour Green, Blue, White/pink, Yellow, Ornage & Red (mine's Green - the brightest)
4. Runs on 2 AA Batteries, listed as 50 hours burn time (depending on models); Lamp burn time 3,000 ++ hours
5. Waterproof to 150m depths
6. Switch, turn base on/off

Guys, this babe is great for those low level lights you need in the tents, doing camp chores in the night, reading maps, trackers/signal lights etc.....

Cool lights but with some limits in brightness .... for me the burn time justify everything.

Haven't taken it for test yet but i predict it shall perform flawlessly for its intended use (i'm gonna use it for my backup and chores lights while camping and my backup lights for caving)

Oink...oink....Bob

I also like this product, but I thought I would pass along that the EL does die between 1000 and 3000 hours. The unit will start to become "blochy", with dark spots or patches as it ages, until the entire unit is dark. As long as people understand that it is a great product. Very nice as a marker light.

I have one (of course) and love it. I got it as the tent light for camping, but it is a great "bedside" light as you can see well without waking anyone else up and it is great for those strange hotel rooms around the world. Enough light to get up without turning on the mega photons.....

It is now part of my standard road package.
