Borrowed a digital camera from a friend that can do extreme close-ups. I'm gonna have some fun with it this weekend! Maybe redo the shots for the assembly.

With better light, smaller aperture, more depth-of-field... humm...

How do you do that? I can't take closeup pics for squat!:grumpy:
I have a 2.1 megapixel sony. I know that it is not the best there is, but is there a trick to doing good closeup work? Awesome shots you took there.

You have to set your camera to manual, and back way off on the focus... I'm still learning with this thing! I don't know how my Gallery pictures turned out so much better than my inventory pics... who knows! All I know is I'll be raplacing the inventory pics soon enough!

I wish I took that pic :D Those are some shots from other owners of that camera. I'll be recieving mine in a week or two.

Cool shot, I can almost see you ;)

This camera is a Ricoh RR30, It allows macro up to 1/2" from the lens! I see scratches and dings in my thumblug that I can't even see with bare eyes.

Good advice, I tried it and it worked very well, thanks. The Camera I used is a Olympus Camedia it is supposed to be able to take a picture in Super Macro mode at a 1/8th inch away but I never had much luck with it before, I think I was zooming in to close with the lense, Here I placed the cam about 2-3 inches away and zoomed the lense as far back as it would go and it turned out well.

My 1st extreme closeup here and a link to it even bigger (800x600).

Hey nice close-up Tom! You wouldn't have that in 1024x768 would ya?

What model Camedia do you have. It's gotta be newer and better than my D-360L!

I have the Nikon 4500... it's the new version of the 995. They are both excellent cameras... and the Olympus Camedia in it's more expensive flavors is bitchin' too... and was my first choice, but I got a great deal on the Nikon!

Perfect shots!

My pictures turned out cr*p. Bad color, no depth-of-field. I better leave the close ups to Archiblue, NewGraham and Jocke!
