Well it's official, I'm Hinderer "junkie" just pulled the trigger on a pen in green.
I did lots of research and I'm looking forward to getting the pen.
Rob and the troops are "top shelf" to deal with

Thanks, I'm using the Surefire "on the job" and will be "subbing" the Hinderer in right away.

Extreme Duty Pen
Wow!!!
If I sell my ZT0561, I can afford one of those pens:cool:
Not a bad idea!!:)
Oh yeah, Pics, Pics, Pics, Please.

Sure, no problem, is your ZT 0561, the new one with the FDE scales?? if so I'll make ya an offer?? Pics of the ZT 0561? is it new?

Wow!! You are quick.
I was thinking about selling it but had not completely made up my mind.
I received it Monday or Tuesday I think, Carried it a few times but have not cut anything with it.
It is a really low serial number and is perfect in every way. I would consider an offer I guess.
Here are pics:

And with my XM-24 that came yesterday

The ZT 0561 is not as small as the picture makes it look, It's almost the same size as the XM-24, About 1/4" shorter blade on the ZT and a thinner handle.

Well I really want both now!! I'm looking to retire my XM-18 for work cause it too dam expensive to lose. Rob won't have another batch till late May???
PM me with what you want?? I really wanted the 0561 for work, as I just got rid of my Surefire folder.
The pics are great!!
Think about, no pressure.
Thanks
BTW you have great taste in scale colour, FDE, I have it on my XM-18!!!

I understand both points of view. Would hate to lose an XM, oh the horror. And can see why someone would sell the 0561 once they have a 24.

Yeah....I'll use my XM's but lose...... Nah, that ends at rhyming. Ain't gonna happen if I think there is a chance the XM sits out that game.

Thank you, I just put the OD Green scale on and figure I'll see which I like better.
I will think on the 0561, I ordered it because at the time I couldn't see myself affording or finding
an XM-24, I sold several knives to get the XM. Now that I have the XM, I was thinking of using the
0561 if I go across state lines into a state that does not allow big blades and if it gets confiscated or lost, It's
not as bad as losing the Hinderer. But I have also been thinking about just getting an XM-18 with either the 3" or 3 1/2"
blade to carry when I don't carry the 24.

Well all I can do to convince you is that it will "go into service"
Sleep on it, and Thanks
I love the XM-24, and keep the FDE scales!!!
Thanks

I will on both comments.
I had my eye on one of the pens even before I got my XM but I was looking at the $80 version.

The E.D. in aluminum is a very nice EDC pen. The Investigator in aluminum is a little light for some tastes, the SS or Brass is heftier.

Oh, I got it now.
The Extreme Duty is available in aluminum and titanium.
I would love a titanium but $200 plus is a lot of coin.
I want the same one as you mildot but my favorite color is blue.

So I took delivery of the ED pen, it's G2G, fit& finish is excellent and it "feels" great in my hand. I like larger pens, as I have big mitts.Rob and the Hinderer crew are "top shelf" to deal with.
It's now official, that Hinderer is my wallets mortal enemy, LOL. Really CS is awesome.
Also picked up the ZT0561,from Mountain Wildman, a true gentlemen to deal with and he gave me a "great" deal, we also struck up a friendship, another "solid" BF member and Hinderer alumni!!
Cheers

Thanks for the kind words my friend!!
This tread inspired me to order the Extreme Duty Pen
as well, Mine came today, Blue Aluminum. Very nice!!
