Just wanted to post a quick note that I received my Fehrman EJ today. The fit and finish are excellent, just as many others had described. The new kydex sheath is a break front design with a tek-lok. Mine came scary sharp out of the box.

I didn't realize they came serial numbered but I lucked out with mine being in the single digits. Another nice touch is that Eric Fehrman wrote a brief note on my bill of sale and mentioned to call him if I had any questions.

I think Fehrman is going to become a major player in the semi-custom market segment based on customer service alone. The order to delivery time was very quick as well being just over a month from the time I ordered.

With the snow arriving in my neck of the woods I probably won't be out using it for a couple of months. I suspect Cliff should be recieving his soon and will due a great test to destruction review.

I am quite pleased with my decision to go with Fehrman for this unique blade.

Keyser Soze,

First let me say.....awsome name,One of my favorite movies.

Second congrats on your Fehrman, there my favorite blades. I know what you mean on the attention to detail. I think I have said this a thousand times :D you cant go wrong with a Fehrman.

The balance point seems to be just in front of the choil on the blade side. As for the weight I don't have a scale in the house that will measure it accuratley. I may take it by work unless Fehrman Knives can post the weight.
