There has been only one proto made and that is currently MIA. I can tell you (and everyone else) that the first Becker to be made in the extreme line will be the BK7. Depending on sales and such will determine any future Beckers.
As soon as that Proto turns up, I will get a pic up.

I don't know...Im pretty happy with the carbon steel and low price point of the current Becker line.
Recently got a BK-7 and I love it, although it seems a little too light??. Prolly cause Im so manly!
Unfortunately in a knife this size I keep trying to put my index finger in front of the handle which is...Ack! on the blade. Its instinctive and pretty dangerous.
I think serious thought should be given to putting a choil on the extreme series....like the magnum camp!
It only took me about 24 hours before I gave in and yanked the handles and cord wrapped it with some black 550. It looks quite fetching now and I dont feel as inclined to put my finger on the blade.
How about a larger version of the Magnum camp in extreme?
Could be a ten inch blade with a little more width so the handles were narrower than the blade. Now that would be extreme!
Im going to be in line for micarta replacement handles when they become available for sure.

You guys have got to come out with a 5/16" thick 10" blade Bowie, like the BK-9 only bigger!
