Hello folks just curious as to if any member or members around here might have one of these. I've been looking at the drop point version some and it looks like a nice blade. If anyone has any details on actual use and ownership it would be great to hear their thoughts on this folder. Thanks,

I've handled one and I didn't like it at all.
It is heavy for a folder. Obscenely heavy. When it is closed, it is wide.
Blade and grind. .25 thick. I got rid of my ESEE 5 because it was too thick for a fixed at .25. I don't need a folder at that thickness. Not a fan of the funky grinds either.
Nothing wrong with N690 steel but for almost $400 usd, I'd expect better.
If you want a beefy tough folder, maybe ..
Cold Steel 4Max (Aus10a or spend a few $ more and get the S35VN one) or Recon

I've already got 4-4 Max's now and a bunch of other triad locking folders including the Espada XL so I'm good there. I like heavy duty blades mostly for collecting so far it sounds like a nice heavy duty folder for collecting. Thanks for the info.
