extreme survival knife...

hey guys,
I have a question and thought you all would be the perfect ones to ask…

I am wondering what you think is the most over the top, fear inspiring - extreme survival knife out there.

The knife does not have to have much (if any) practical application as I have quite a few user knives already (including multiple busse combat knives, and several knives from custom makers on this site). but basically if you had to have 1 knife to take on hordes of alien invaders and who’s mere sight would send a troop of girl scouts running for their lives, what would it be???

here are a couple i think fit the bill... i'd like to see what you guys come up with!

In my opinion an "extreme survival knife" needs to be super high performance without useless gimmicks and decoration.

im pretty framiliar with the knives your talking about and have quite a few myself - was just trying to make a fun thread to see some cool designs... here are some of what i have and most are exactly as you described...

thx - not as large as a lot out there - but im trying to fill it with my favorite makers, production and custom. anyways - i hope people will post some pics of their favorites as well.

Why would a survival knife be required to inspire fear?

The only fear that most of your knives inspire in me is the fear of having to carry all of that superfluous steel more than a couple of hundred yards.

no... but if you ask real nice i can let you know where 1 is (or was) for sale for under a hundred... which is pretty affordable as i think i paid twice+ that for mine...

it doesnt have to... thats the point... i guess no one read where i said...

was just looking for some bad ass looking customs... i guess no one wants to play! :o
 
That's a very nice collection with lots of stuff I only wish I could afford to get. In looking at those knives, I'm surprised that the "survival knives" you're asking about would even show up on your radar. I'd think that every one of your knives is better.
 
"Extreme survival knife"=multi-tool.

IMO, A good multi-tool is far better for survival than any single large fixed-blade.

Check out the Victorinox SwissTool or the Leatherman Blast.

Anyone knows if all the bumps and edges in the blade had some use?

The Tracker knife is supposed to have a use for all, but that one... man!
I simply don't get it! :confused:
