Remember Intrinsic Motivation?
Remember.......??
Aaaahhhh? Ahhhh?? Remember?
The Thread: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...nife-WIP?highlight=destruction+test+knife+wip
The Knife:
That knife WAS to have been a gift for my hunting-guide neighbor until I screwed it up and decided to destroy it..... blahhh, blahhh, blahhhh.
Well, I had also intended to re-make that knife and get it to him by this past Christmas. That was until I began having some rather troublesome health issues and I had to put the project down....... until a couple weeks ago when I was able to get back into the shop and finish it off along with a few other projects. So, finally, I have completed a knife should have been done last Fall. Damn I'm good!!
This knife acquired particular significance for me as I really wanted to take the lessons learned from the Destruction Test Knife and incorporate them into a re-do worthy to be owned/used by a good friend and active hunting guide.
So, to honor its lineage, and my future intent for the knife.... but, also as a result of some recent conversation.... http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/933182-Seal-skin ....I've come to know this new, improved version as.......... as:
Extrinsic Motivation..... aka "The Club".

Anyway, enough of that.
Please let me know what you think. All comments and critiques are welcome.
Thanks for looking,
Peter
