So after asking my wife for the last three years for one of these kettles...she bought me the Original by Eydon. This weekend it will get is maiden burn...anyway, this thing is too impractical to lug in a backpack but it will be a nice piece of kit to go into the truck for primitive truck outings or just a day hike returning to the vehicle. So...my question is how do you guys store you Kelly/Storm kettles? I could just throw it into a small duffle or stuff it into it's own small backpack from a thrift shop...but thought I'd survey the collective brain trust here on Blade Forums.

How do you transport/store your kettles in vehicles?

I've got three Kelly Kettles, they get stored in the draw-corded nylon stuff sacks that they came with; these sacks are light weight and fit the kettle perfectly (with the base inverted it nestles into the bottom of the kettle taking up less space). The base and chimney of the kettle get pretty dirty and the stuff sack really is a necessity.

Hum. Great idea. The Eydon doesn't have an option like this. Looks like a DIY project!!! Thanks.
