Just felt like taking a few pics of my recently acquired Eye Brand. It is the medium stockman which is about 3 5/8" closed, it has carbon steel blades and beautiful stag handles. The F+F is top notch on this one, very tight all over. This is my first and one/only stag handled knife, I really like the way it feels, it has a nice texture. Here are the pics, enjoy!

Hi,

Very nice! I really like the less "bumpy" look of the stag on this one. And it looks pretty well matched. I need to get some stag!

That's a good looking knife. I hope you enjoy it and put it to some work.

Nice knives. Eye Brand seems to hold their value also. I like mine alot. They rust up easy though. They went the way of the match striker nicks eye see.

That's a keeper. I didn't know that Eye Brand knives are now being made with matchstriker pulls. Seeing that they come from the same factory as Bulldog, it is not a huge surprise. Maybe it's how Olbertz is keeping costs down, running only one blade line for both brands.

yes sir! That's the good stuff.

I've got an EB stockman, but it's the big one -- 4 1/4 closed. Very similar beautiful stag handle slabs, and excellent, tight action. I also have an Indian Head 4" stockman, very similar, and also made by Olbertz. That one has the best action of any production slipjoint I own -- seems like a custom. I think I paid $60 for the EB and $50 for the Indian Head. Amazing quality for the price.

I looked at several other models at the time I bought this one, and they all had great fit. They are pricier than Case, but a little less than or equal to Queen, I paid $66 for mine from SMKW.

It is a beautiful and very well made knife with carbon steel blades like I love so much, plus it is the right size, but I haven't had the urge to carry it yet?? I have been totin' my old Boker Barlow or and old Case Jack instead, neither one of those are new to me.

BTW: that is some good looking stag on a good looking knife Navihawk.

They seem to be very well made knives. They look great too. I don't have one, but most comments I have seen are very positive.

There ya go BJE... The carbon steel jack you were looking for!
Use it in good health!!

Very nice.

I have an Eye Brand copperhead, also with beautiful stag. I was never a big fan of stag until I got this knife but you are right, it really does feel good in the hand.

I'll try to post a pic later (I'm killing time in the office right now so no access to the toys! :D).

I like those match strike nail pulls . . . now if only strike anywhere matches were easier to find!
