I just noticed the discontinuing of the Fällkniven small fixed blade SK3 Juni.
They have put up the remaining stock at a 50% discount.

I got mine when they were introduced some 8 years ago and it was love at first sight.
I still think it's one of my top 2 smaller fixed blades.

It's small but very often I don't need anything more.

That's a nice looking knife. Handle looks a bit small, how does it feel in hand

At 3" long the handle IS small, but it feels very comfortable in use.
For an average hand it's a 3 finger knife and I think it's a fixed alternative to a pocketknife when You want easy cleaning.

50% discount is very tempting indeed  Is that just in Sverige or the EU and US?

Some excellent steel on the Fällkniven range, tidy to look at too:thumbsup:

It's only from Fällkniven HQ, but to my knowledge they ship worldwide.
The laminated powdersteel takes and holds an edge for very long.
The edge on the Juni is set for hard work and for the last year I have started to gradually make the edge thinner.
For eight years now I have not needed to do a full resharpening, just maintenance so it's for sure a great steel.

I looked this up, at with the discount from FK, the knife costs the equivalent of $33 before shipping. That's really tempting for that Supergold blade and the really nice Loveless style handle...

That’s not what I see. I’m seeing 1300 SEK or about $142

I'm getting $154.65 for the knife, a sheath, and shipping. I must be doing something wrong

Edit: Looks like I was late with my info

Hah! I missed the "1"... Oh well.

:D Hehe, a deal too good to be true.
At that pricepoint there's always the Mora Classic #1 in laminated O1.
Not stainless powdersteel, nickelsilver or curly birch, but very useful anyway.
The Juni is a little jewel among fixed production knives and I for one will miss it when it's gone.
