Sometime since the last time I checked, the Fällkniven G1 "Garm", a double-edged dirk or dagger designed for discrete carry, has progressed from the drawing boards to a prototype knife and a photo thereof. They're saying "November 2000," for a list price of 960.00 Swedish Krona, which converts to US$103.
Specifications from Fällkniven's site:
Total length: 7.5" (190 mm)
Blade length: 3.54" (90 mm)
Blade thickness: 0.18" (4,5 mm)
Steel: VG-10
Blade hardness: 59 HRC
Handle: Thermorun
Blade surface: Black teflon®
Sheath: Neck kydex®
Garm, in Norse mythology, was a hellhound. You could get past him by feeding him a special cake, but only if you had given charity to the poor back when you were alive.
Now who here would like to explain this little knife, with a sentence beginning, "But officer ...."
