F 150 question?

Does anyone know if the bed from a 90 F150 will fit a 87 F150? It's the same length and both have the fuel tank on the side. I've tried searching the web to no avail. And the local dealer was no help. The price is right, but it's a bit of drive from me and I don't want to waste my time if it won't fit.

If I remember right there were no major changes in style during that time period, some minor things on the cab but no real revamps.

The major dimensions should be the same, so I suppose its mostly a question of will all 6 bolt holes line up? And do you want to drill new ones? (if your putting in a bedliner you'd probably never notice)
I don't know how hard it is to hook up the neck on a fuel tank

I guess the best advice I can give is to go to one of the webforums dedicated to F150's and either post or search. I think I've seen others recommend www.f150online.com .

www.thedeiselstop.com has some very knowledgable ford owners on board as well, but it is mainly geared towards superduties, diesels specifically, but a lot of other stuff is included.
