Gorgeous, simple and clean looking! I love this design and choice of metals. I would consider purchasing if the price was right.

very simple and classy. I love D2 for an every day folding knife (should you actually decide to use it).

Hello, and sorry for my poor english.
I use D2 for long time (7 years).

Hehehehe, translation "it's been a long time François Bignon is using D2 for his knives".
Personally, i have only one other custom in D2 ("Bonvent" descy).
It's a good steel, that hold an edge for long time.
It's a semi stainless, as far as i heard (i keep the blade of the "bonvent" clean, so no trace of rust).
So i suspect that this new folder will be a good combination of steel (D2/titanium)...And it's the size i like for my folders...
Anyway, i'll do a short review of it when i will collect the knife (28 avril, during a knive show in Paris):)

Argg, don't told me it's a large Exca?
i ordered it from Barry 3 month ago and it's delayed...
Now his brother is getting married and i will have to wait he comes from honey moon...
Anyway, i will just be happier when i'll received it...
VCM3, which one did you order from barry this time?
(and what do you think about my new ordered custom "Francois bignon" titanium folder?)

Freddy,
I personally am not too big on all metal handled knives, but you can see that this knife is well made,it looks like a winner.I have been trying to find or follow examples of this makers work, but all info is in French.
I am getting a HP MKII,and another Exkalibur MKII.
The HP sports a Swiss ss Damascus blade w/ African Mahagony scales.
The Ex MKII is CF scales Swiss ss Damascus Bolsters.I'll put up Barry's picture if you'd like.

Edited in - Freddy the blade shape on that Ti knife is really fantastic,I like it. I think it was a gorgeous wood handle slipjoint I saw that got my attention to F. Bignon
Not to hi-jack your thread, see post #36 (that'll keep the makers work in thier threads)

A clean framelock with D2 blade. The size is great for EDC (3 1/8" blade). I like it
