Hello, newbie here. this is my first post.
I have a Floyd E Brown custom Bowie. I can not find much info on this Bladesmith. I was wondering if I can get some information from some of the knowledgeable knife guru's here on this site. This is what I was able to find online. It is a very similar knife to the knife I have.

The only info on Brown that I could find.

Floyd E. Brown. Brown was a highly skilled maker who was active at a time when the industry was just getting going. Information on Brown is very difficult to come by. He started making knives in the late 1960's and as near as I've been able to determine he was active until sometime around 1980. It appears as though he was well-known among the custom knifemaker's circles. Well-known maker Bob Levine, a voting member of the Knifemaker's Guild and founder of the Alaska Knifemaker's Guild, list Floyd Brown and Gil Hibben as his teachers. Brown was certainly an exceptionally talented maker and his work is extremely clean. He was an early member of the Knifemaker's Guild. 1986 was the last time he was listed in the directory, although I don't think he was active for a couple of years prior to that. His knives are very difficult to come by.

I'm not sure if I posted this in the correct forum. any info on this bladesmith would be appreciated. I have owned this knife for over 35 years. I believe it is close to 50 years old. it is in unused mint condition.
