Sorry for the poor pics but just give you a referance of its size and overall quality.

The finish is pretty similar with Bull Nose but needs to be rounded at the back of main blade ,because the swedge here is much shorter than Bull Nose.

The pen blade is huge and you can get it much more accuratey in photo below.

The whole knife may feels big, wide, and thick but through a one-day carry it rides well.

Any other question about this knife is welcome for I too struggled if I should buy it.

I like mine. I have big meat hooks for hands and have never minded carrying a bulkier knife. I certainly see it as one of the most hard-use slipjoints in production. No one is going to break this bad boy.
I made some comments in the other thread about its details.

Yeah! I can dig it! I have one of the single bladed versions on order. After using my bullnose quite a bit, I'm confident that these things will be bulletproof. And that steel is exceptional. Let us know how that knife works out for you after a few days' carry. I'm curious about the added bulk from the secondary blade. Does it make the knife too heavy and bulky to carry comfortably day in and day out?

Thanks for the comparison! :)

The penblade seems to be as strong as the sheepfoot. That would make a strong and durable short knife. The sheepfoot as a mainblade is nice. Somehow I like this bladeshape. (I wish Otter would build an Ankermesser with a secondary blade)

That will make definitelly a nice working - heavy duty tool. I´m sure, it fits great in hand.

Interessting design at all - the "butt" looks a little like a swayback. I like it! :)

Thanx for the excellent comparison shots. Love that large pen blade! It looks kinda like they flipped the Bullnose and built it from the opposite side!? ...I will be getting one of these in the future!

Not at all but the main blade may make the handle feels slightly wide when using the pen blade.

Nice review and photos. I bought the single bladed version because I was afraid this one may be too thick. While this looks very usable I do not feel the extra blade is worth the extra width and weight for me. I do reserve the right to change my mind.

Looks like a fine work knife.
I am reluctant to buy because of the blade steel, but that steel is getting good reviews on this forum.

Thanks for the review! I really want one of these, but I am going to have to put it off for a bit; no monies for knives, hehe.
I am glad to see more than just the Bullnose in O1, I have fallen in love with that steel.

I like it. Im going to order one now.

Update: Just ordered the exact one the OP has! Cant wait!
