Hi guys & gals,
I was on search of some interessting designs on pocket knives some time ago. So I decided to look around and I found a knifepattern that is made by some german makers (Friedrich Hartkopf, Hubertus, Richartz etc). It´s the Picknickmesser - Picknickknife
It has hornscales nickelsilver bolsters and the blade is made of 1.4034 stainless steel as well as the fork blade (with caplifter).
Here are some pics....

the fork

The knife can be taken apart in two pieces ... to have the fork and the blade for a meal

This is the mechanism how it works - when the knife should be taken apart the fork blade has to be opened and the fork blade has to be closed when the knife is put together. The blade can be used like a normal blade on a knife.

Size comparison to a Wenger Soldier in relationship to length. The Hartkopf is slighly larger.

Size comparison to broadness. The Hartkopf is a little broader due to its broader springs and scales.

I know there are some knife patterns with a spoon like the Case Hobo or other camp knives, but I liked the option on a forkblade on such a pocketable tool. And I don´t eat that much soup when I´m on the road.
The horn scales are just great looking, if you ask me.
Your opinions and thoughts on this pattern are very welcome, as always fellows
