Custom CQC 7 w/ RARE serrations, BeadBlasted Blade. SpecWar Logo Mill work on Top of Bolsters, Light Green Micarta. Satin Hour Glass Clip, Phillips BeadBlasted screws, Hex Head Pivot screw. Only seen one other like this. Refer to Picture in Emerson Gallery please. PERFECT.... $2500.00

All I can cough up right now is a hairball...

I think everyone should thank me for this last round of Emersons coming up for sale. If it wasn't for the fact I'm getting a new car and don't have the cash to buy anymore at this time, it is only logical that they become available. Watch, as soon as I get some money, no one will want to sell.

I'm a bit surprised to see this knife coming available. It is an extremely rare variation of a CQC knife that is pretty rare to begin with. With no new custom orders, and nearly no latitude in getting non-standard characteristics on existing orders, I'd suspect that this serrated 7 is one of only two ever to be made! To put that in perspective, Emerson custom PROTOTYPES are usually made in batches of 5. Even the ultra rare Rhino has at least that many known to exist. Nice addition to somebody's unique collection.
 
I've been beefing up my collection in recent months and have promised myself that I would exercise some restraint...but damn, that sure is a beauty. Considering what has been going on with the escalating prices on customs, that is one special and appropriately priced Emerson. Tami's knives are as well maintained as if they came out of Ernies's shop. Will a Usual Suspect please step up quickly, keep this baby in the family, and relieve me from temptation.

That's a "Tiger Shark", The Ernie made father of the "Police Utility Knife". Tamishigiri or Nyeti can correct me here if I'm wrong, but as I recall the blade is Satin and the scales are black G10.

As to how many were made, Sorry, I don't have any numbers for you. I'd feel very comfortable saying "not a bunch".

Thanks for clarifying. I couldn't remember seeing this one and it seemed like a piece that I surely would have remembered.
This super rare piece easily qualifies as a standout to any Emerson collection.
