I seldom post here, as I stay busy. I hope this post is within expected criteria and within the right location, please forgive me if not. But never-the-less I wanted to share my new custom 1st Pattern Fairbairn-Sykes reproduction by Maestro Paul Macdonald, from Edinburgh. Paul was a pleasant man to communicate with, and accommodated my request for the construction to be of RWL-34 powdered steel. The steel, as seen, took a bright polish. It came with a nicely sharpened point, though the edge was not quite so sharp. I wanted a piece I could rely upon, and the construction is indeed superb.

Here is next to an original 2nd Pattern "B2" and 3rd Pattern.

In addition to the regular original design sheath, I also opted for a MOLLE model, for better integration with my gear. The MOLLE sheath also fits other models including Raider Stilettos and Mark IIs.
Hope someone enjoys this.
