It was lightly modded with a few parts from an Emerson Prototype Custom. I needed new, unmarked black hardware for a custom prototype emerson years ago that had a few clip scratches and thus swapped the clip and hardened pivot from the custom with the parts in this knife. I also bead blasted the hardware on this knife at that time. (The pivot now in this knife is noticably heavier than the production one that it came with.)
This knife has been riding shotgun in my cars glovebox for the last 5 years or so, never an edc but has seen some use and could use a sharpening. I would say it's 80-85% or so, definitely not a beauty queen with some wear on the scales from rubbing on things in my glovebox and such. Opens fine, locks up solid with no play. I don't have the box or papers, but hey I bought this knife when they first came out 10 years ago!
