Straight out of 1983, this Taylor G-971 balisong has solid sandwich style stainless steel handles with dual tang pins. The tang is firmly stamped "TAYLOR" over "SURGICAL JAPAN" on one side and "G-971" on the other. One of the hardest to find Taylor balisong's ever. along with this rare G-971, I have a skeleton version of the same Taylor for sale ***SOLD****. New condition. $65 conus. reduced to quite a bit less than I paid @ $55 each conus first i'll take it takes it!

OAL is around 7.5 inches, with a blade length of just under 3.5 inches. I also have an even rarer yet, Taylor G-968 (larger version of the G-971) with solid handles in new condition. It has a 4+ inch blade and the same profile if you are interested. $70 conus for the larger one. The two match in every way, except size and stamped model #. Would make a great set. $110 takes both.
 
so how does it flip? maybe if I keep asking questions someone else will buy it before I give in :D

Bump for fun stuff. I have the knife pictured above, as well as a larger 4" version with drilled aluminum handles ('Manilia Folder' printed on the blade). I got them at the Acorn Knife Shop in Gatlinburg, TN when I was in 8th grade. The knives flip great, and they have always been lots of fun!
