I put Ironwood handles on this F1 blade and made some pants for it.

This one is going to it's new owner in Little Rock...now I can start on mine!!

Nice! Great looking scales and I really like the wandering areas of untooled leather on the sheath. Pretty neat idea to stop the stitching at the tip for what I presume is a drainage hole.?

Drainage hole it is sir....I notched out a channel in the welt....I'm thinking the hole will also aid in drying out the sheath ....seems moister hangs on for a long time in a new sheath.....

Thanks!

Tal, I'm not sure if you're "slack belt" refers to the blade or handle part of the F-1(?)...any way, I didn't touch the blade except for a couple seconds on the strop.....the handles saw a lot of belt sander time, as well as hand rubbing.
Thanks!
