Anyone heard of them?
Can't find any contact info that has a physical address or even a phone number but it says USA made, maybe I didn't look hard enough
Thoughts appreciated.

I am very interested in them and would love to get hold of one.....or two. Funding permitting, oneday

Looks like they make some good stuff over at Millerbros but 5160 with a Infi price tag is just :eek:

I also mean no offense, but why is it taboo to discuss other makers? As long as no disparaging Discussion is taking place. One reason why I won't go to HI forum, can't mention other makers. I for one like to know what other Busse owners like. Since we already have the best there is, it is nice to know about other knives worth looking into.

Would it be wrong to start a thread about what folders Busse owners have....I value ya'lls opinion more than all other subforums. And also a good way to get a wide array of opinions without going to a specific subforum and asking what they think about their own knife.

I really don't think Busse is in danger of losing customers by bringing up other makers. I would have not discovered One of my favorite custom makers (David Wesner) had it not been for Guyon showing off his new chopper....many years ago

While I can agree to some degree on discussions about other knives, this is the Busse forum...so the link has been removed from Post #1.
Also... I do not see a reason to help this maker any more than the liberties already taken in past eBay listings with the use of the word "Busse" to draw views to his knives...

Thanks Jaxx
This is the stuff we need to know, integrity by a business means alot to some buyers......especially being so close( north ohio)

Wait, you mean other makers and sellers will put Busse in their title/description to get added hits from those searching for Busse knives?..........;)

I guess that means the seller selling the Strider knives with a "Busse heat treat" are not really heat treated by Busse.................

I actually find the practice annoying.

Sorry guys I did not mean to cause a raucous, however, had this post not been mentioned, most of us including me would never have known about the suspect business practices of the aforementioned company. Even though it was not a post about Busse knives, none of you can think of at least one post sometime that didn't veer from the PATH.
I try not to be overly myopic in my thought processes.
Sorry again

Not to be rude or anything
but
what does this have to do with Busse Knives?

At least it's knife related...it seems half of the threads here aren't even knife related. So it's not cool to ask opinions about another brand of knife, buts its ok to go off on political rants re. Gun control or discuss firearm brands? I'm missing the logic... I do understand that using this sub forum to boost marketing of another brand is not appropriate, but the OP was just asking for opinions. How is this different than asking for opinions on ammo, guns, whiskey, etc.... Just saying...

Regarding the miller bro knives....they look awesome, but like others have said, overpriced for 5160. Looking over their stuff, if anything reinforces the value of Busse in comparison.

I would say that "political rants" are monitored and kept in check. As for knives, I see no problem with folder discussions as this does not infringe upon Busse's business as they pay for this forum. And in regards to guns, whiskey, ammo and other such topics, they are passions that Busse owners share and like to discuss as this is a family forum with numerous friends that trust one another for an honest opinion. But when it comes to other maker's, I know for a fact that Jerry never allows discussions that bash other makers. He has that much respect for others to take the high road and not permit dog piling or bashing to occur. :) But these are just my thoughts on the matter and hold no weight.

KAAK's excellent post here is a good place to lock this thread.

I should add that as I am not employed by Jerry, the views and opinions expressed in my posts on this and any thread are solely my own, and do not necessarily reflect the official policy or position of Busse Combat.
