Hi!
If you bought it to use it, don't care about collectability, just sharpen it!
On both my commanders (98 and 99 mil-spec) i've ground a double bevel, i just SUCK at sharpening chisel edges.
I often carry my both thich commanders, they are primary for self-defense, but sometimes get used for whatever too, just for the plain fun of waving them
Use that knife, it begs to be used...
Edited! please be aware that chisel ground edges don't feel as sharp as regular edges, but they cut like MAD, try it on something meaty...
