Hello,
Another quick question, I'm relatively new to the busse and family line, but I love um:)
How are thescrapyard first line sheaths compared to other kydex sheets. Should I get one or order from a custom kydex guy
Thank you

Your title took me buy surprise, I was thinking, Busse including sheaths?!?! You mean I don't have to pay MORE for another sheath?

Then I read your post and was bummed.

You mean not everyone gets a sheath with a busse purchase, ha ha
Sorry for the confussion. I am awaiting a dog father and wanted to know if the factory first position is good or if I should go with a kydex maker
Thanks for looking

I think you have a slight mis understanding. The company store does sell kydex sheaths. I think they are Mashedcat kydex sheaths but they are not made by Busse. There are many sheath makers out there, and I happen to really like Eric's who make the Mashedcat sheaths. Thats just my two cents :-)

The ones on the Scrapyard site are not Mashed Cat,
I have seen a lot of Erics stuff and it's very nice.
No experience with the Scrap store versions, They look solid:thumbup:

thank you liu kang and steelnut i will look into mashed cats work. always count on the forum to answer questions.

Mashed cat are great.

David Brown (Buy Brown) are great.

AZwelki (Spelling?) on this forum also great.

Those are the Three makers I have actually owned and can comment on.

Stealnut makes sheaths, and everyone loves them.

Okuden has a great rep.

Many more I am not thinking of.

both the busse web site and the busse company store web site have links to sheath makers, all are very good and highly recommended.

I sent a PM to David Brown as soon as I got home from the ECCKS. I have two of his other sheaths and they are top-notch.
