Just a quick note of caution, if you dont send your knife in for work make careful measurements of the blade width and length. I have noticed as much as 1/4" difference in length and 1/8" or more in width. For my uses I ask for
1) Tip of knife back to the micarta
2) measure the width of the blade in at least two places
I'm not sure if they (kydex benders) can put in some tolerances like that but its worth a shot. And if all is right in the world your knife and his will be the same size.
