I have a ka bar/ Becker bk11 and was thinking about investing in some micarta, the problem is I carry iwb and didn't want to spend $30 on something that is to thick. So does any body have the thickness? and now that they have the scales would they buy them again? what's the grip like? Thanks.
 
Ok thanks, I thought about doing that and didn't know if that was just knives or what. Also thanks for being nice about it, I asked a question on another forum about a stock for my 870 and got griped at by two or three people for asking in the wrong section. Not the best way to draw in new shooters.
