Factory mistake

I recently purchased a Grand Canyon Trapper. The fit and finish are excellent. But after I got it home I noticed that there were no tang stamps. I contacted BokerUSA and they said it was a factory mistake. I'd like to know how common these kinds of mistakes are with Boker. I'm considering returning the knife because I am concerned that the lack of tang stamps will effect the value of the knife, should I ever want to sell it.

Actually, the fact that it does not have the tang stamp, makes it rarer than the ones that do (of course) therefore making it collectible!

Every maker has done this at one time, or another. The knives mis-stamped, or not stamped, are always collectible!

Or it is a worthless counterfeit.

Not always the case. A factory goof that does not get marked as a snd is colectable. Me and my brother both had buck 301 stockman that had the blade arangement messed up. His was marked with a mark to show it as a secound and was just a good user knife mine had no such mark and was worth about 3x what i paid for it on the day i got it in my hand.
