Factory regrinding-sharpening?

George

I'll step up to the plate. Yes, Emerson will resharpen your Raven. I beleive you need to include $10 for return shipping.

Call Emerson Knives to confirm the $10 issue.

Hope that helps

John

I emailed Emerson regarding this 2 days before I posted the question here...
Still no answer from them.

Is that good Customer Service?

Thanks John.

Hello!

Please keep in mind that Emeron knives get A LOT of e-mails everyday, and regular mail and phonecalls.
It's not good customer service, but remember that they aren't a large company as, for instance Buck knives.

Just my cooling off try

Yes they will resharpen your knife if you write done what needs to be done, and send 5.00 to sharpen and 10.00 for shipping. (must ship in a gold box!) Very nice and helpful over the phone. Call them and see what they say to you. I'm going to send in my c7 as I screwed up the edge.

Yes, we do offer resharpening. The cost is a straight up $10.00. This includes the sharpening and return shipping.

Hello- this is my first post to this forum, and I don't mean to hijack the thread...I too would like to get my CQC-7 back to a sharp, factory edge...

Derek- who/how do I at the contact the factory to get this ball rolling? Thanks!

George,

I recently spoke with them through email regarding the sharpening of my CQC7. They quoted $17 (for sharpening and return shipping). Turnaround time is 7-14 days.

i have sent knives to EKI a few times and have never sent in a gold box FWIW. in fact what do ya mean by gold box all mine have been red, am i missing something lol.

if ya want them sharpened send them to EKI with $10 thats all ya need to do.

derek is with EKI FWIW.

EKI has great customer service with fast turn around, that said they arent hard to sharpen, ya should learn how, they are really easier than a std "V" grind.

I just received back my Emerson CQC-7 that was in a severe need of resharpening. They even replaced the spring pocket clip.

Emerson charged me a flat fee of $17.00 to sharpen and ship back to me. The photo doesn't do the knife sharpening any justice, but you can see that the edges and serrations are nice, clean and sharp!
