Has anyone heard what the dates for the sale are? I went last year and got some good deals and stood in line with some great people and am thinking about doing it again this year.

I tried doing a search but it keeps giving me an error page. So I thought I would just post the question. Sorry if this has already been asked.
 
I think it is still the first Fri/Sat/Sun in December. I was there last year too.

Dunno when it "Exactly" is though...
 
What sorts of things are offered at that sale? No way that I can make it, but I have some friends in the area.

I've only been once but they had a very good selection of their product line for sale. The also had items like tweezers and the like for sale. I'm not sure what that was all about. I could be mistaken but everything there are cosmetic seconds. I've never heard of anyhting being sold that was a mechanical defect.

I'm sure someone else will chime in with more details.
 
I've been twice. All knives I looked at were in good shape.
I like to shop it for the In-laws. I buy them nice stuff and when they loose it in three month I don't get mad about it being smothing I put a lot of work into. (Yes it happend more then once)
 
This sale is an absolute must go to event for anyone within striking distance. There are many items offered , not just seconds. There are always some vintage knives that mysteriously appear from who knows where ? They always have some goodies that were only produced for other markets and never offered in the states. I would not miss this sale unless I was and burried !! Thomas said last year that I looked like a kid under a Christmas tree, and that is exactly how I felt !! They also come out to the line of people waiting to get in and collect knives for sharpening and guys pick them up when they leave. Some folks even camp out over night to be among the first few to get in. If you are on the fence about whether or not you want to go , let me give you a swift kick and get you moving , you DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS EVENT !!!!! Besides you get to meet all your friends at Kershaw, because almost all of them work the sale . NUFF SAID ??
 
What Kershawguy said! They have ZT's at rock bottom prices, and unique Kershaws there.

(Since I won't be there early Friday, maybe you could snag something for me Dave?) :D

Also, I heard this rumor that towards the end of the sale on Sunday, they throw out a bunch of stuff for $5--is this true?
 
Anyone within striking distance want to shop for me? I'll buy you some knives for your effort.

The tweezers and beauty care items are over stock from a subsidiary company Kai-USA purchased called URI, the items sold by URI are made by various divisions of Kai.
 
Meh..beauty care...leave to it Tommie...

Besides regular production pieces, there will be multiple CB Blades, Damascus, S60V, SG2, ZT, tons of Shun, dare I even say some Ti...Most all the boutique runs we've done will be featured...throw in some vintage and Tommie's beauty care products and we've got a party.
 
This is tortuous for us easterners. I hope you all know that.
