Thought you guys might get a kick out of this. The truck belonged to someone in the shipping department. Apparently those guys were always pulling pranks on one-another :D

That's the factory in the background. The odd growths you see coming off the side are the massive air handlers that filtered the tons of ground handle material, metal/brass dust, and buff lint that was produced daily. Each grinder, buffer, polisher, sander, and saw had a nozzle attachment that was routed to the miles of ductwork in the plant and sent to big collection bins under the outside vacuum units. They were emptied by dumptrucks that pulled underneath the bins.

That's funny. I was in an OSHA class yesterday, and someone had a story about wrapping the OSHA guy's car in wrap. The sheriffs got involved...

Ron, it's the Schrade plant, I believe this is the side that faces the road. I'll have to go by there Monday and snap a couple of comparison pictures.

With the variety of stuff the air handlers would suck up, I wonder if they tried to recycle it or if it all went to a landfill. I think back then it wasn't an issue.
