Handled this knife today at my local enabler, and I must say that it was one of the most attractive sebenzas I've ever seen. The whole knife appeared to be stonewashed. Can you get them from the factory this way? It was brand new, born late September of this year. Thanks guys.

Im not sure but Ive never heard or seen a sebenza come from the shop with stonewashed handles.
But CRK is always changing and tweaking their designs so its quite possible they are using a new
way of finishing their handles.

those handles do look beautiful. I have noticed that MR. Reeve seems to be changing his designs alot lately, maby because hes trying to listen to his costumer base or maby because he isnt getting the attention with his knives hes used to having. Either way Im loving the new designs minus the change in lock engagement :confused:. Anyways maybe hell start to make more options available..... Im working on getting a large plain raindrop damascus with double silver thumb lugs right now. Selling pretty much my entire collection for it though. I think its work it :D
 
Well, I found out that a local guy that I am actually friends with did this knife. He actually stonewashed the whole knife for the retailer. I am going to pick it monday, I will make a video on it and show you guys!
 
ah thats kind of unfortunate thats not from the factory but still looks cool... I do however envy your ability to just pick up on a sebenza whenever you want :) cant wait to see some more pics and the video when up.
 
Did he mask or otherwise protect the face of the lockbar when he did the stonewash?
