Faded Makers Mark....any thoughts?

Picked up this gorgeous double bit at the flea market today. Lots of pitting and a faint makers mark. Anyone have any ideas?

I can make out a few letters and that’s it. Have any bright die or even use white out on that area to bring it out?

Ludell Some of their heads look like, they were made by Plumb. Some were imported from Japan, Germany, but most of imported heads came from China

Nice. Thanks! I hadn't heard of Ludell. I knew someone on here would know. Sure looks like a nice piece of steel. Been around a bit to have that kind of pitting. Very straight and symmetrical. Should make a nice user.
