Folks, I am having trouble getting the right look on a front pocket wallet I am making for a friend. The artwork and tooling is a stylized skateboarder. The requested color was black, I convinced them that I would need at least need to go grey around the carving for contrast. This is something that with levels of brown I have tried before. Can anyone give me some ideas? I am always trying something outside of my comfort range, leading to learning new tricks, and reading this forum has really upped my game.
