I don't have a failed mod....but I do suffer from "which mod do I want to do and stick with?" Kinda like when I spent a butt ton of time hand sanding down my BK2 to a polish finish....then patina'd the crap out of it.....fail. But in retrospect, my arms are ripped now!
Not gonna dig them out for pics but I have messed up 2 BK-2s and 1 remora. I tried grinding them into completely different looking knives and they just looked and performed terribly in the end.

Welcome to the forum. Looking forward to seeing your mods.In the woodworking world we refer to them as "design opportunities". That said, I've got a Cam bk2 I plan on screwing up soon (first mod attempt) but I've gotten some excellent ideas while lurking around this forum, so maybe I won't have too many oh shmoments.....I'll try to post some pics.
Well, the first one did blind me a little bit, but the other 2 look good!
That Remora looks really good. It flows well.
