Lets have them people. Dig them out of the drawer and Help others learn from your mistakes. Let see the knives you think you ruined doing whatever you did.

The thin 16. "Waved" on Ethan's KMG. Resuscitated by hand.

I don't have a failed mod....but I do suffer from "which mod do I want to do and stick with?" Kinda like when I spent a butt ton of time hand sanding down my BK2 to a polish finish....then patina'd the crap out of it.....fail. But in retrospect, my arms are ripped now!

Ha ha ha!! Sounds like a win to me!

Some time back, I tried to square the spine on a Becker and made a mess of it. Psyop fixed it for me and also showed me how to do it properly.

Not gonna dig them out for pics but I have messed up 2 BK-2s and 1 remora. I tried grinding them into completely different looking knives and they just looked and performed terribly in the end.

Now that's the type of pics I would love to see.

Nah man, you said it, now you must show it!

No Becker fails, however I had a friend who broke the tip off of a older Spyderco that I gave him.
I've fixed many broken tips on knives before, but there is almost nothing you can do with a Delica missing about 1/2" from the tip.

That was a lesson in being kind to an idiot.
Never did get a straight answer on what he was prying with that knife.

In the woodworking world we refer to them as "design opportunities". That said, I've got a Cam bk2 I plan on screwing up soon (first mod attempt) but I've gotten some excellent ideas while lurking around this forum, so maybe I won't have too many oh sh:-) moments.....I'll try to post some pics.
