Fair cash value for a NIB Spyderco Delica gen 1

Brand new here. Ive been pawing the exchange and am selling some gun gear so i can pick up some sharp steel so I have some walnut Sig grips for sale on Sigforum and have been been offered a trade for what is claimed to be a Spyderco Delica gen 1 with a plain edge blade. I have no idea if these knives have a "collector" value or if they are worth about the same as a Delica gen 4. The grips I have for sale are valued in the $90-100 range. Thanks for your input.
 
You can't ask for specific values on blade forums without a gold membership so I'm afraid you aren't going to get an exact answer.

With that said, I can tell you this, if you plan on using the knife, just sell your sig grips and pick up a delica 4 for around $50, it is just flat out a better knife than the gen 1. If you're interested in the knife for collector purposes then the value of a gen 1 delica is whatever a collector is willing to pay. Personally, I wouldn't take that trade...
 
Early Delicas had the plastic molded clip, unless you're a collector who needs one to complete the collection I can't see it being worth that much.
