All that trading really falls between what each other wants. Go thru the exchange and check prices.

IIRC CG FBMs have been going for $425-550 depending on the config.
Hell Razors somewhere like $375 -$475. Scrapper 6 (CG?) have been $95-125.

You'll get much better numbers by surfing thru old exchange listings and looking at what some things sold for... when it hasn't been deleted.

It seems the price on Hell Razors has shot up recently. I just traded an FBM even for a Hell Razor as I felt it was a fair deal considering what each knife is bringing currently on the exchange.

:thumbup: I think you're right. The Hell Razors, unappreciated for too long, are starting to come into their own! :D

Love mine!

Thanks Guys....you are all a great bunch of Hogs. I mean it, I am always behind the learning curve on hte Busse's, and just ask, and you guys step up and tell what you know.
I have tried the search, and it seems to be a long drawn out ordeal...so I usually get bored. Most people delete the price once an item is sold. I thought that I had seen alot of Hell Razors catching a good price lately...so that is why I thought I could find a user FBM in trade. I know you guys usually have about 10 of the damn things anyways...lol.

I recently bought a mint Hell Razor for $430.00 (shipped and paypal fees), there is a HR on ebay atm (same color combo as mine) with a bid of $500.00. Auction only has a few hours left so I don't think it will go higher.

Most of the winning bids come in the last ten seconds !

I also agree. Based on what I've. Seen recently, an FBM for Hell Razor is about an even trade.

Just in the time since I got my beloved Hell Razor, I've seen them shoot up. Not surprising, since if there is one that can do it all, it is the HR.

A girl needs a knife...and I love my Hell Razor!

Sooooo...whos gonna hook me up???? I will lavish you with compliments and a Scrapper6 on top.

That Scrapper 6 is a gem, I don't think I could part with mine even if I was offered more than current prices dictate.

(And I won't ever get rid of my CGFBM's at any price, new or used. I just LOVE that knife. :D )

Yeah....as far as a knife in that price and size...the Scrapper6 has to be the king.

yes and no, depending.

for standard mint knives, someone would have to either be well off enough to not have to think about prices, or really not want the extra hassle.

in mint form, right now hell razors are bringing in around 500$, and the scrapper6's around 100$. thats almost double your money from the standard fbm. if your going for money, you'd be crazy not to do a trade like that. you could by another fbm and have 200$ at the same time.

however, once you get into the grey area of modification, where metal has been removed, you get into the realm of user desires, rather then money. for modified knives, price varies by the quality of the modification, and the desire of the market for non mint users. sometimes this means no sales for a really long time at lowered prices (requiring drastically lowered prices), and sometimes they pull in mint prices.

as users, it just depends on wether someone want's the blades you have more then theirs, and they have to like your mods. I would say that it is fair if all they intend to do is use the blades, and the mods were done in a sensible fashion (non dremel, watching for heat)
