Finished up a few days ago as a gift for a good friend, I though some might like a look?
The plan to make is as original-esque as possible, as such it gets a hollow ground blade and nickel silver plated handle and fittings, the handle and fittings are all brass beneath the plating.
I wasn't too concerned about the guard fitting, as would have been the case, they were very much made as a tool of war.
I guess the plan was that if you nipped back to 1941 and picked one from the WS production line, this is what you might have had in hand.
