I have a WW2 pattern1 fairbairn sykes. This has been handed down through my family and bought back from the war by my grandad, he was not a commando but swapped it for another item during his time in europe. And yes it has the 's' shaped guard.
I am looking to sell it but not sure where the best place to advertise the knife .ie auction, collectors etc....or which country it would get the best value. I want this to go to a collector as I know this is the spitfire of the knife world.
The condition of the knife is good as is the scabbard.
