Hi gentlemen,

This is the final step of the tutorial on the Fairbairn Sykes dagger, enjoy!
this knife was a custom order and I still need to make the box for it.

Cutting a piece of wood (Itin) for the handle.

Drilling the center for the blade's tang.

Manually shaping the handle and finishing it with 400 grit sandpaper.

Placing the already shaped handle into the blade.

Piece of damascus for the pommel.

Working on that piece (drilling, threading and grinding it)

Awesome stuff Aeriel. That is the best fairbairn ive ever seen, and that damascus is just sweet.

Holy mother of god that's a nice looking piece.

However did you drill all the way through the wood? I've been trying to figure it out myself, I have a stick tang blade I need to get a handle onto.

you've made a knife that should become an heirloom for someone.
