Hello.

Just finished this one, so I thought I'd share it.

My own take on the Fairbairn-Sykes dagger.

6 1/2" 1095 blade, steel guard and brass handle. Overall length 11 1/2"

Thanks for looking.

Fantastic!!!!! Love the contrasts… 🕶️

I just did receive a similarly styled piece from Brent Sadnow….classics!!!!

Thank you very much.

I done quite a bit of research into the FS daggers whilst making this, and a looked at a lot of knives...Brent Sandow's work is absolutely superb.

The handle looks like my original. Very nice. 23 on guard for year? Also the guard is better than mine, more stout, - it got bent somewhere along the line.

Yeah. I don't normally use any marks except my surname, but decided to add the year onto this as a nod to the original knives.
Your comment on the handle has made my day. I've done a fair bit of knurling before, but never anything that isn't parallel. I wasn't sure how to do it for the best, and even made a handle from aluminium to practice on. I was starting to think it might be easier to go for a 3rd pattern grooved handled, but I'm glad I persevered with the 2nd pattern style now.

Thanks for all your comments.

As always, they're very much appreciated.
