Fake AD10?

I recently picked up an AD10 and have a concern brought to my attention of it being a counterfeit

Everything about it feels perfect. The images I’ve found of fakes don’t match but there is a “smudge” on an S on the blade and am told that is a telltale sign of being a counterfeit.

and of course I can’t post pictures for whatever reason. Right now.
