Surfing the big auction site and came across this so called rare Buck 112. Sure enough it has the "BUCK 112> USA" tang stamp but nothing else about this knife yells out Buck. This is the first I have seen like this. Bidding starts at $.99. I wonder how much this rare knife will end up selling for. LOL.

This is a similar knife that was for sale on eBay last November. Photo by seller.

Found it, THX.

Seller informed. Send nonbelievers here, to the thread linked below for a picture of the fake:

Posted to dedicated Fake/Counterfeit and Americans Who Sell Them Sticky thread link: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...-Bucks-amp-The-Americans-Who-Sell-Them/page10

This fake/counterfeit (along with several other fake/counterfeit) is shown in this thread: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...-Buck-reference-straight-from-China-Hong-Kong

The same knife with some etching, called Punisher (easily found Chinese suppliers google "China Wholesale Buck Knives"):

Gedlicks there is a sticky thread above showing fake/counterfeit bucks sold by Americans with lots of pictures for your viewing pleasure. I personally think that the discussion posts should be removed leaving the working picture posts in place so everyone everywhere can visit the official Buck listing of fakes/counterfeits and where they are being sold from in the USA because this makes a more concise resource for quick research.

Here is a fake/counterfeit 110 with tang stamp, for example:

I hate fakes and I know that 2nd is a fake, but I wouldnt mind if buck used that wood coloring. Thats the best looking rip off I've seen.

ya that 110 could easily fool a non knife person. Or should I say a non Buck person.

I'm guilty of ordering a fake 110 but I did it for the right reasons. I'm gonna show the local pawn shops and what not to buy. They already got stung on a Leupold Knockoff.

Now there are Leupold knockoffs ? I've been out of the gun loop for awhile

yep, Chinese made. Probably not a bad scope but I'd hate to see somebody try and return one for warranty work only to be told its not a genuine one.

I wonder if people have returned Buck knockoffs for warranty work?
