Just saw this one on evilbay :

Amazing that it getting bids at all considering the seller admits that its a Chinese fake.

Heck, I bought a fake knowing it was fake. Actually bought two, the first went to Buck for them to look at and the second one I bought just to have a "genuine" counterfeit.

It's amazing how well they duplicated the box and the Bos sticker on the box. It may be from the same manufacturer that made the one I have, the boxes are very authentic looking.

This is the 3rd one of these sold on ebay in the last few weeks from China.

I've bought several knives (mostly Bucks) from the guy and he seems to know his knives. If HE says it's a fake, I'd believe him. I'm sure he would get a lot more for the real thing, so why list that way if he wasn't sure of his facts.

Good question.......the seller himself says he's clueless.

We should take his word for it, then, that he's clueless.

His general attitude and demeanor suggest a not-too-bright smart-ass.

So, until there's evidence to the contrary, there's no reason to believe it's not a Buck.

Our mods from Buck should be able to provide some answers on that.

Why did he list it like that? Stupidity would be right near the top of the list of possibilities.

Who would bid on this from a seller in China?

From the question that shows up below the item description.....looks like someone in Italy.

Maybe these items sometimes mysteriously slip out of the Buck factory in China for a little additional worker income. That's even happened in the U.S. factory once in a while, I bet.
