Fake(?) - Busse on eBay

Greetings all. Spotted this just now. “Gorgeous Busse Tactical Knife with Micarta Handle.” I don’t see too many fake Bussekin on the bay, and not sure how to pass this along to the Mothership if that’s what should be done. Sure Jerry will get the word somehow. I have a family member in a bad medical situation or I would look into doing that. Thanks.

looks like a fake busse hawkeye dagger.
all the pics I have seen have busse logo on the hilt, not on the center of the blade, and the there are other differences also.

There are two from the same seller that come up with those search terms.... both clearly fake.

I reported both items as counterfeit to EBay. I guess @Amy-0, @Garth Reckner or Jerry Busse can take it from here. Hopefully we can get the mother——er shut down.

I sent Jerry an E-mail the other day with links to both listings. I think, IIRC, that this same seller has listed fake Busses before. I sent one guy a note that his knife for sale wasn’t real and he responded back asking why and that the knife he had was well made. I responded with the details which were unrefutable but he didn’t pull it and went ahead and sold it. Some buyer didn’t do his homework & purchased it.

Epray is buyer beware. Pretty bold for someone to be using Busse name on their fake.

I sent eBay an email on both "knives" over a week ago! Both items still up for auction and one renewed once already. Bottom line is, eBay don't give a rip!

speaking to this, I wish that Ebay had a way to filter out sellers when searching. I would certainly put one on ignore real quick.

Wow, I can't believe someone could actually do that. The thing is, certainly looks like they have some skills so why do chitty copies of someone else stuff? For looking to be made really well those are some really terrible copies in so many ways LOL!

I also reported the fakes to eBay and wrote to Jerry last week with the heads up. Also wrote to the seller and all he basically said was.. "thanks i'll look into it". The seller obviously knows they are fakes and doesn't care. It's really poor that eBay has not removed these 2 fake listings after being alerted.
I hate fakes!
