Fake Case?

Hello BF,

New to traditionals. Came across this Case and I’m wondering if anyone can tell me if it’s legitimate. It seems, if I’m reading it correctly, that it’s from the 70s and I read another thread that the older knives are counterfeited more often.

Case 6233 green bone maybe, hard to tell from the pictures, 8 dot, 1972....
