Not sure where I should put this, as I did check. But there is a Chris Reeve OEM? For sale on Amazon from some new vendor from China w/ 0 sales. $49.99. I just stare at the knives as I'm more of an inexpensive fixed blade type of person. But I did notice that knife on Amazon. Don't know if this even helps. I just don't think it's right. Have a great rest of your week.

Lots of fake Reeves out there. They have a counterfeit page on their website. I think fakes can also be reported to AKTI. Probably too many Chinese knockoff shops to fight them all and I'm sure they can shutdown and rename to get back in business.

As a buyer it doesn't bother me greatly when they are obvious knock offs-China , $49.99, incorrect materials, being a few huge indicators. Where I would have a problem is a good counterfeit being sold at full price.
CRK may certainly look at this differently(specially when it comes to logos-even if slightly changed), but from a buyers perspective you have to be pretty ignorant to believe you are buying a true CRK the way some of these are listed.
All IMO

I hear ya, brother. There is alot actually w/ no crk symbol, and I seen one w/ the symbol on it, so wasn't sure if I should've spoke up or not. It just bothered me for some reason.

Counterfeits are not popular on this forum, and many would take a much harder line then I did. They are hard to stop coming out of China where US patent laws mean little or nothing

The problem is the fakes get passed off down the line as real to un suspecting folks ... then the trouble starts.....It's one thing to see it on Amazon for $49.. next week E bay at $399///
